Neema Crafts Guesthouse
Neema Craft Guesthouse is an excellent social enterprise managed by disabled people. The onsite restaurant serves good coffee and continental dishes and the craft center is a great source for gifts.
Iringa is a small town in the heart of Tanzania receiving few tourists, besides a continuous influx of volunteers and aid workers, hence accommodation options are slim. The best place to stay is undoubtedly Neema Craft Guesthouse. All facilities are entirely run by disabled people, and they have come up with a simple yet effective system of writing down your orders and explaining in the menu some basics of sign language. Proceeds go towards running a physiotherapy center for disabled children. The guesthouse has no frills yet clean doubles (US$ 28dbl / BB) and dormitory rooms. There is free WIFI.
